Kate Moss Shows Off Her Religiosity On The Cover Of ‘W’ Magazine

Supermodel Kate Moss is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of W magazine and as you can see in the photos below, the coverphoto and accompanying photospread have a bit of a good girl/bad girl thing going on. The photos, shot by photographer Steven Klein, appear to be religious themed with a dichotomy being drawn between good and evil. But even in the “good” photos, you can see a bit of daring bad girl in the styling. Anytime anyone uses religious imagery in art there is bound to be some level of controversy … and maybe that is the point. Alyson Hannigan & Fam Go On A Fun Shopping Excursion

A few weeks ago we got to see cute photos of the very pregnant Alyson Hannigan doing a bit of maternity shopping here in SoCal. This week, Aly packed up hubby Alexis Denisof and her daughter Satyana for a fun family shopping outing together. As you can see in the photos below, Satyana had her eye on some really cute sunglasses … which she was happy to model for photogs. Alyson Hannigan enjoyed a spot of retail therapy with her daughter Satyana yesterday. The pair headed to a Santa Monica boutique where Alyson helped her two-year-old pick out a pair of sparkly sunglasses as a treat. How I Met Your Mother star Alyson, 37, had some shades of her own piled on her head as she presented the youngster with a couple of options. While both sets of sunglasses were pink, Satyana seemed to favour a sparkling oversized pair, looking adorable as she tried them on for her mother. But right now we’ve got THE most exciting Blue Ivy news yet … in a presumed effort to have complete control over their daughter’s introduction to the world, Beyoncé and Jay have released the FIRST PHOTOS of their baby daughter. Britney Spears Drops The Kiddies Off At School

Yesterday we learned that our dear Britney Spears ***MAY*** be featured on Madonna‘s new album M.D.N.A. and sadly we know now that she is not (Madge debunked the rumor today in her interview with Ryan Seacrest). But in happy news, we get to see new photos of Britney in full on mommy mode as she drops off her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James at school. As you may know, Britney is planning to take some time off from her bizzy work schedule to focus on living her normal life … and clearly that includes daily drop offs and pick ups at her sons’ school. Aww … bless. I just love seeing Britney in mom mode. It’s always great to see her all dolled up on the performance stage but I think she really shines when she is able to just hang out and care for her sons. Paul McCartney Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Congratulations are in order for former Beatle Paul McCartney because yesterday he was honored with his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Altho The Beatles have had their own star for years, this is the first time that Paul has been honored with a star of his own. As I understand it, Paul‘s solo star was approved back in the early 90s and due to various circumstances the unveiling ceremony was put on hold. But yesterday was his big day! Remake Of Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Rebecca’ In The Works

I read today that DreamWorks and Working Title Films are getting started on a remake of Hitchcock’s classic 1940 film Rebecca. Those of you that are Hitchcock fans will remember the story about a young woman who marries a rich windower and is haunted by her husband’s first wife. The original book by Daphne DuMaurier will be updated by Steven Knight, who worked on Eastern Promises, Dirty Pretty Things and The Lost Symbol. We will have to wait for news about casting, but this film will be a big one as it is a serious classic from a time when things were still “old-Hollywood glamor.” Who will play the role that was originally done by Laurence Olivier?

The film was directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1940 and was one of the original psychological noir thrillers. It starred the iconic, Laurence Olivier as the aristocratic widower Maxim de Winter and actress, Joan Fontaine as his wife.

Macaulay Culkin’s Rep Claims That He Is ‘In Perfectly Good Health’

Troubling new photos of actor Macaulay Culkin are making the rounds this week and by pretty much all accounts, the young actor does not look well in the photos. Macaulay appears extremely gaunt and sickly, IMHO. But, according to his press rep, there is nothing at all wrong with Macaulay‘s health. It’s unknown exactly why Mac looks so skinny but the official party line from his people is that he is fine. Check out the photo below and see what you think.

Is Macaulay Culkin doing all right? That’s what we asked when a photo surfaced of the scruffy-faced 31-year-old actor looking awfully thin as he clutched a Red Bull on a stroll in New York City. So, what [does] Culkin’s rep have to say about his current condition? “Macaulay Culkin is in perfectly good health,” his rep tells E! News. “For Entertainment Tonight—or any other media outlet —to speculate otherwise is reckless, irresponsible and destructive. We implore them to discontinue the rumor.”

Update: Halle Berry’s Violent Stalker Caught By Police

Earlier this morning I learned that Halle Berry was considering leaving the U.S. and seeking custody to take Nahla to France because she has been threatened by a mentally unstable stalker who said he wanted to slit her throat. Now, TMZ has revealed BREAKING NEWS that Robert Hoskins, Halle’s stalker (and the same guy that threatened Madonna years ago) has been apprehended by the police. Scary stuff!

Robert Hoskins is a mental patient who escaped the institution where he was being treated last week and apparently came after Halle. Halle is safe for now though… according to the LAPD, Robert was apprehended today and returned to the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk where he was committed last year.

This is a relief! I have to say, I have the utmost sympathy for people suffering from mental illness and hope and pray that they all get the treatment and medical assistance that they need and deserve, but it is good to know that people around them are also safe. Let’s hope this puts an end to the Halle saga…
