Scarlett Johansson and Co. are thinking outside the box to re-elect President Obama!
The actress co-hosted Runway to Win, a clothing launch where proceeds of the line went towards the POTUS's re-election campaign.
Ranging from totes to clutches to t-shirts, Runway to Win had celebs flocking to NYC a week before Fashion Week.
ScarJo took the time to endorse Obama and listed the following examples of the POTUS's good work:
Change for American women: the first bill President Obama signed into law was the Fair Pay Act Three women now sit on the Supreme Court for the first time in history. And insurance companies must now offer women cancer screenings and contraception at no cost.
Change for LGBT Americans: The President ended Don't Ask, Don't Tell so no one will ever again have to lie about who they love to serve the country they love. The President declared the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional. And he signed the Hate Crimes Prevention Act into law.
Way to go, ScarJo!
She also preached patience towards the reviving economy. She stated that Obama inherited a "turkey" and he's working to improve it.

It's about time!
After a year delay, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has announced that a three-judge panel will announce today its ruling on whether or not the ban on same-sex marriage in California, known as Proposition 8, bans the constitutional rights of gays and lesbians!
Apparently, the panel held off on the decision as they wanted to be informed by the California Supreme Court as to the legality of the Prop 8 sponsors authority to challenge the trial judge's ruling that it was unconstitutional to begin with!
Doesn't seem like that much of a question to us, but okay!
We also know that regardless of the decision today, both sides will be ready to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, but we sincerely hope that this panel realizes what a disgusting infringement on basic human rights this ban truly is!
EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL!

Among many, many, many other things!
In one of the most scathing reports about the former President every printed, a former aide to John F. Kennedy claims that she had an 18-moth affair with the legendary leader in which he took her virginity and forced her to do drugs.
Former White House intern Mimi Alford, now a grandmother, reveals that in the summer of 1962, she began a torrid love affair with JFK that lasted until his assassination. While Jack has notoriously been considered a playboy, this affair was conducted right under the watchful eye of his wife Jackie O -- and even in her bed.
According to Mimi, the first time President Kennedy made advances on her was during a "personal tour" he offered to her of the White House. When they reached Jackie Kennedy’s room, Mimi claims the President immediately starting taking off her clothes. When she explained to him that she hadn't had sex before, he continued anyway, without saying a word and without ever kissing her.
Things carried on much like this for a long time and then proceeded to get worse. At one point, JFK took Mimi to a party held by Bing Crosby at (Read more...)
Way to go, DanRad!
Daniel Radcliffe gave us more reasons to love him when he joined a list of mega-millionaires agreeing with higher taxes on the rich.
DanRad took it one step further and drops his support of the U.K.'s Liberal Democratic Party because their stance on taxes.
The actor is worth an estimate $47.4 million and said the following on taxes:
I think, if you make a lot more money than most people -- like I do -- you should pay more tax and subsidise people who work just as hard as you, but don't earn as much.
Chris Rock echoed similar sentiments as did Bill Gates and Warren Buffet about American taxes.
Will the government take heed to their advice?
We hope so!

Exactly what we like to hear our potential presidential nominees involved in!
Edward Dillard, a man from Florida, has filed a lawsuit against Newt Gingrich and his security team after they apparently roughed him up outside the Florida Republican Presidential Primary on January 31st - for supporting Ron Paul!
According to the legal documents, Gingrich and his wife, Callista, approached him outside the polling place and shook his hand, but when he noticed Dillard wearing a shirt expressing his support for Paul, the nominee "immediately turned his back" and went to greet other people. His security team then apparently approached him and tried to "intimidate him into moving from the spot."
When that didn't work, he asserts that one of the agents "lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard's right foot and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side like he was stomping out a cigarette, causing a fracture to Dillard's right foot," and then shouted to other members of the team, "Everyone step on his toes!"
What on EARTH?! What is this, a group of schoolyard bullies running a political campaign?!
If true, this is absolutely DESPICABLE - and shameful!

Jon Stewart, like us, thought it would be awesomely HIGHlarious if Donald Trump ended up using his "big announcement" to endorse himself rather than one of the Republican hopefuls.
That didn't happen, and Donnie ended up endorsing Romney in a really boring fashion -- and Jon was understandably let down!
Check out his hysterical reaction above! Ha!
We love Jon Stewart so much. How about U??
We aren't joking.
Roseanne Barr, you know, the comedian and star of Roseanne, wants the Green Party to nominate her for President.
While we agree that the two party system is pretty terrible, we're not sure she has the kind of skills needed to run a nation!
She said:
"The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants -- bought and paid for by the 1 percent -- who are not doing what's in the best interest of the American people. I will barnstorm American living rooms," she said in a candidate questionnaire submitted to the Green Party. "Mainstream media will be unable to ignore me, but more importantly they will be unable to overlook the needs of average Americans in the run-up to the 2012 election."
She has already submitted the paperwork to be considered in July!
The Green party holds a convention in Baltimore to decide. We're wondering if they'll not take her seriously... or use her fame to help give themselves a foothold in the actual race.
Guess we'll find out!
How do U feel about this?? Do U take her seriously enough for something like this to be real??

Chris Rock has become the latest one percent-er to say he's okay with raising taxes on himself.
Joining Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and others, the comedian (who's worth $70 MILLION!) says he's going to lose the extra money, so why not help others get jobs.
Chris said the following on the matter:
can pay higher taxes and people can have jobs or I can pay lower taxes and I have my kids' teacher asking me for a loan because she's going to lose her house, which is true. Stuff like that happens, so I'm going to lose the money no matter what.
Well said, Mr. Rock! Do U agree?
Check out the video above and hear Chris dish on his thoughts on the economy.
