Kevin Jonas & Wife Danielle Get Their Own E! Reality TV Series

With Nick Jonas doing his thing on Broadway and Joe Jonas doing his thing … well, at the gym, I guess … it is time for the eldest Jonas brother to do his own thing. Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle have partnered with E! and Ryan Seacrest for their own reality TV show … cuz Heaven knows we need another celebrity reality TV show like this, right? A member of the Jonas Brothers has teamed with executive producer Ryan Seacrest for an E! series that promises to give viewers a different kind of New Jersey-based reality show. ‘Sparkle’ Releases A First Movie Poster And A New Promo Photo

At the start of this month, we got to see the first movie trailer for the new film Sparkle … which stars the late Whitney Houston in the last project she completed before her death this past February. Today we get to check out the film’s first movie poster and a very cool promo photo. Altho Whitney isn’t one of the film’s main stars, per se, she is featured in the film’s first poster. Whitney Houston tragically passed away just over two months ago, but the singer-actress is going to light up the silver screen one final time. On Thursday, a new movie poster for Sparkle, a reboot of the 1976 film, was released. In the film, Houston, who was 48 at the time of her death, plays the mother of three girls who form a singing group. Although the close-up of Houston’s face is radiant, it’s Jordin Sparks who shines front and center on the poster. First Look: MTV Releases A Trailer For ‘Snooki & JWOWW’

For the past few months, Jersey Shore stars Nicole Snooki Polizzi and Jenni JWOWW Farley have been filming a spin-off reality TV series of their own … today, we get out first look at this new show. Titled Snooki & JWOWW, this new spin-off series was originally intended to be a sort of bachelorette pad-centered show … but with Snooki‘s unplanned pregnancy (and shotgun engagement to her babydaddy), the show looks instead to be, well, something else. When we first heard about this spin-off show, I imagined it would be a bit like a modern day version of Laverne & Shirley, you know but … drunker, trashier, dumber. Instead, because of Snooki‘s condition, it sounds like the show will focus less on two bachelorettes partying and more on, well, the complications that impede all the partying due to pregnancy. Rap star Nicki Minaj has ventured into the world of straight-up pop music with the release of her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. While half of the album features Nicki‘s singnature rap style, the other half features the poppier, more radio-friendly side of the singer. Today we get to see the music video for Nicki Minaj‘s new single Starships, which is a decidedly poppy song that sounds like more like a Katy Perry confection rather than a typical Minaj track (like, say, her last single Beez in the Trap). I generally like the song, it’s catchy with a good hook. The video is fun but … for a song called Starships, there aren’t very many starships to be had. First Look: Anthony Hopkins In Character As Alfred Hitchcock In ‘Hitchcock’

Last month we learned that Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel have both been cast in the upcoming biopic film Hitchcock (formerly titled Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho) and today we get our first look at lead actor Sir Anthony Hopkins in the role of Alfred Hitchcock himself. Cue the Alfred Hitchcock Presents music! Anthony Hopkins is attempting to step into the shadow of the legendary director for the movie, Hitchcock, the story behind the making of Psycho, so it makes perfect sense that the first image of the Oscar-winner playing the director captures his iconic silhouette. Head titled back, heavy-lidded eyes, jowly. Not bad, Mr. Hopkins. You can practically hear the auteur’s slow, phlegmatic drawl. The movie began shooting last week, with Helen Mirren as Hitch’s wife, Alma, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Michael Stuhlbarg as Lew Wasserman, and Toni Collette as Hitchcock’s secretary Peggy.

First Look: Jennifer Lawrence & Bradley Cooper In ‘Serena’

Jennifer Lawrence, currently reigning supreme as the lead in the current #1 film The Hunger Games, has begun work on a new film co-starring Bradley Cooper in Prague. The pair will star in a feature film titled Serena that is set in the 1930s and revolves around the drama and intrigue of … the lumber industry. Er, yeah. Honestly, I can’t say that this information really excites me but … I do love me some J. Law so … I’m willing to give the film the benefit of the doubt. Though Lionsgate is undoubtedly scrambling to find a director for the Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire before production begins this fall, star Jennifer Lawrence is currently busy shooting the thriller Serena. Justin Bieber has his own perfume, so why shouldn’t his girlfriend Selena Gomez. Because the world could use yet, another, celebrity fragrance, Selena is getting in on the celebrity scent game. Thus far, we don’t know what Selena‘s perfume is called but thanks to some photos shared by Gomez herself, we know what the bottle looks like. I don’t love the bottle, to be honest but, then again, I am not the target audience. The bouquet of lips looks weird but it’s a unique bottle. I imagine that Selena‘s first perfume will smell sweet, innocent and untouched … just like her. I mean, she’s all those things … right? The real question is how does Selena‘s smell mix with Justin‘s perfume smell? I guess it’ll take an industrious Justena fan to wear them both to find out. ‘Magic Mike’ Releases Thongless New Promo Photos

Back in January we got to see a batch of new photos from the upcoming male stripper film Magic Mike. Today, we get to see a couple more photos … but, I must warn you … there’s not a lot of stripping going on. Yes, we do get to see some hot man chest flesh but for a film about stripping males, we’ve yet to see anything even closely resembling a thong. HMMM. ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Covers ‘Entertainment Weekly’ Magazine

Yesterday we got to check out a semi-cool new promo image of Anne Hathaway in costume as Catwoman in the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Today we learn that there are new promo images from TDKR to behold. The film’s lead characters, Batman and Catwoman, are featured on the cover and in the pages of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.
