Kim Richards Opens Up About Her Alcoholism And Substance Abuse Struggles

We're just so relieved that she's realized just how out of control her life really was.

Anyone who watched this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills knows just how fargone Kim Richards had succumbed to her addictions to alcohol and drugs, and having finally gone through a 30-day rehab program, the reality starlet is opening up about her struggles!

She explains:

"I am an alcoholic. I just didn't like me anymore. I couldn't look at myself in the mirror. I've struggled with it, and I've been working on it for a while. I am a person who has done it and relapsed and done it [again]. I had so much guilt and shame for my behavior...then I drank to cover the guilt and shame and make it go away. It's a vicious cycle. At least I'm trying. I'm really trying."

We're happy to hear that you are, gurl.

It's very clear that you needed help and support in the fight for sobriety, and we wish you all the best as you continue you're recovery.

Update: A New Report Claims That Demi Moore Is NOT Rehabbing At The Cirque Lodge In Utah

Last month we learned the sad news that actress Demi Moore had to be hospitalized for “substance abuse” and then entered a rehab program in order to get treatment for “stress and exhaustion”. Last week, it was reported that Demi was seeking treatment at the famed (and very posh) Cirque Lodge center in Orem, Utah. According to a new report, Demi Moore is NOT at Cirque Lodge … in fact, no one really knows where she is. We do know that Demi has not been seen publicly since her hospitalization but it’s unknown where exactly she is getting the help she needs.

There have been multiple reports by various outlets Demi Moore is getting treatment at the famous Cirque Lodge in Orem, Utah. TMZ has confirmed with multiple sources familiar with the situation that Demi Moore is not at Cirque Lodge. Moore has not been seen out in public ever since her whip-it induced medical emergency on January 23. As TMZ previously reported, Moore had been partying with her daughter Rumer in Los Angeles … and had to be hospitalized. Her rep later said she was being treated for stress and exhaustion.

Demi Says PSYCH! Sources Say She’s Not At Cirque…At Least Not Yet

Is she is in Utah? Is she in El Lay?

No one seems to know where Demi Moore is.

As previously reported, Demi was supposedly getting treated at celeb endorsed rehab clinic, Cirque Lodge.

Now, that may not be the case.

Sources state that Demi has, in fact, NOT checked into Cirque.

We're sooooo confused! We still can't believe this happen two weeks ago!

Wherever she is, we hope Demi is having a speedy and healthy recovery.

How Is Rumer Willis Doing With Her Mom In Rehab? BFF Zac Efron Says She’s OK

We're glad to hear she's being so strong.

On Saturday, we were VERY relieved to hear that Demi Moore has checked herself into rehab to deal with her eating disorder and substance abuse problems.

Now, we're getting an update on Demi's daughter Rumer Willis, from her BFF Zac Efron!

Here's what Zac had to say about Rumer during a recent interview:

"She’s doing OK, she's doing fine. It's tough what she's going through right now, but she seems to be handling it really well."

Demi Moore’s Rehab Deets! She’s Not Allowed To Look At The Scale And…

Since Demi Moore is on lock-down at Cirque, she has to follow their rules! And one of the biggest ones is she can't look at that number on the scale!!

A big part of Demi's problems seems to be her body issues so the doctors think it's best if she steps on the scale backward every time. But that's not all of it!

An insider says:

Demi isn't being forced fed or chastised for not wanting to eat though. The counselors at Cirque are working on giving Demi a safe and controlled environment, she is getting the best care possible. She is also dealing with an addiction to prescription medication, and she has a comprehensive team taking care of her.

People just say Demi should just eat something, well if it were that easy, she would. Anorexia is a very serious disease, and treatment can take three months before a patient begins to see success. She will likely stay at Cirque for at least 60 days. She doesn't have a roommate currently, but that could change though as she advances through the program.

So… here are some of the deets… Cirque Lodge costs $30,000 for a 30 day treatment cycle, so roughly $1,000 per day. The lodge is located in the magnificent mountain setting of Sundance and claims to be “the nation’s finest drug treatment centers providing services for alcohol and substance abuse”.

What will Demi have on offer?

There is over 100,000 square feet in the multi-story Studio which is surrounded by over twelve private acres. Sleeping rooms for residents are first-class, and amenities include a sauna, exercise and recreation rooms.Stunning views from each room help residents connect with their higher power. The lower level of the drug Cirque Lodge Drug Rehab Center in Sundance and alcohol rehab center contains residents rooms, laundry and a fully equipped exercise room and sauna.

Demi Moore Is In The Same Rehab As Brooke Mueller

It's a small world after all.

Over the weekend, Demi Moore took her next step in recovering from her recent hospitalization by entering Cirque Lodge rehbad center in Utah for substance abuse and anorexia issues. However, she isn't the only famous face gracing the treatment center right now. Turns out, Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller is also currently receiving treatment for her addiction to crack cocaine.

Considering the fact that the ladies have different yet equally serious problems, their paths have yet to cross. In fact, according to a source, Demi "hasn't had any interaction with other patients yet,” as she is still in detox. Furthermore, it's likely that the women will never formally meet, as they are in different stages of treatment. Some how, we don't think Demi is losing much sleep over that fact.

Better just hold out for the reunion, Brooke, for an introduction. In fact, maybe some of the other former patients will show up too, like Mary-Kate Olson, Eva Mendes and Lindsay Lohan.

Wait. Do rehabs have reunions? Ah, whatever.
