Robert Downey Jr.’s Son Born This Morning

News has just emerged that Robert Downey Jr.’s wife Susan Downey gave birth to their baby boy this morning. It is Susan’s first child, but Robert has an 18 year old son from his previous marriage. Read on to find out the little one’s name…

Robert Downey Jr. has been busy promoting his new film, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, but he has also been busy talking about and preparing for his new role, as a dad to a new baby! Robert revealed he and Susan were having a boy back in December and then went onto The Tonight Show late last year and spoke to Jay Leno about the pregnancy experience..

“I don’t wanna be presumptuous,” he said. “But I think actually [the pregnancy] has been tougher on me [than Susan!]… Just the hormones on and the mood stuff and the nausea and the whole thing.”

Yes, Robert I am sure the pregnancy was much harder on you! Somehow I think your lovely wife, Susan, might disagree with you on that one :) Congratulations to you both on your new addition to the family!

Brangelina Added To List Of Golden Globe Presenters!

They should bring the kids with them too!

Brad and Angie will be presenting an award together at the 69th annual Golden Globes. They a mega list of celebs that include Natalie Portman, George Clooney, Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Downey Jr., Reese Witherspoon, Rob Lowe, Michelle Pfeiffer, Salma Hayek, Melissa McCarthy and Nicole Kidman...just to name a few.

And of course, Ricky Gervais as host!

Brangelina are up for rewards themselves, including Best Actor and Best Mo-Pic nods for Brad and Best Foreign Lang Film for Angelina.

Robert Downey Jr. Thinks Iron Man Can Be Best Superhero Movie EVAAAR!!

Robert Downey Jr. believes the next incarnation of Tony Stark will be the best anyone has ever seen.

The man behind the man in a suit of armor believes that Iron Man 3 can be the best superhero movie of all time. Batman may beg to differ this summer.

Downey states that he is looking forward to working with helmer Shane Black and if the flick sticks to its roots, it can be something EPIC.

"I think that we have an opportunity with the third 'Iron Man' to make the best of the three, and maybe one of the better superhero movies that's ever been made.

But I think we have to remember what made the first one good. It was very character-driven. It was very odd. It was kind of outrageous. And so I think we have to have the courage to trust that the audience is really kind of cool, and smart.

Bold words, Mr. Stark!

Iron Man is slated to appear alongside of superheroes in this summer's The Avengers.

Tim Burton And Robert Downey, Jr. May Be Teaming Up For Pinocchio!

This HAS to happen!!!!!!!

Waaaay back in September '10, we heard that Warner Bros was in the early stages of producing a new live-action version of Pinocchio.

Now, we're hearing that Tim Burton is VERY interested in directing the film, and he wants Robert Downey Jr. to play Geppetto, the "woodcarver who creates the puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy."

We're also THRILLED to hear that RDJ has reportedly "expressed serious interest in the project."

Hopefully they'll get all this solidified very soon! We are SO intrigued!

Now that we are in the new year, its time to start thinking about some of the most anticipated flicks of 2012. Some chapters are ending - The Dark Knight Rises, Breaking Dawn: Part Two, but some are just beginning, like The Hunger Games and most especially, The Avengers.
