Srsly people, watch where you're goin!!

This is Spinal Tap star Michael McKean was walking along the Upper West Side of Manhattan Tuesday when a car hit him... HARD!!

If you don't know him from the classic cult film, you probably know him as Lenny from Laverne and Shirley. The people who hit him, however, know him as one of the biggest driving lessons of their life!

The 64-year-old actor was found bleeding from his head after the incident occurred on W. 86th St. and Broadway right before 3pm. As soon as the ambulance arrived, they loaded him up and went to St. Luke's Hospital where his critical condition was upgraded to stable. Phew!!

His publicist notes he was on his way to a performance, stating:

He’ll be okay, hopefully he’ll be fine. It’s pretty devastating. It’s the first time he will have ever missed a curtain in his entire life. He’s never missed stage, screens in film or television. His understudy has never gone on in 40-plus years.

Michael's wife, Annette O'Toole, flew in from El Lay immediately. Awww..

Good to know he's gonna be all right!! We love big cities but this is definitely a con (Read more...)

North Carolina Pastor Preaches About The Death Of ALL Homosexuals!

Published on May 22, 2012 By

Holy whackomole!

This poorly misguided North Carolina pastor has nothing but hate in his heart for the LGBT community and is stopping at nothing to spread it.

When talking about same-sex marriage, Pastor Charles L. Worley says that "the Bible's again it, God's again it, I'm again it and if you've got any sense you're again it!"

No, we didn't misspell "against". It's just that this guy never learned to pronounce words that end with "st".

Even sadder than his speech impediment is that his congregation actually supports what he's saying!

Ugh! What an unfortunate flock of sheep to be a part of, right? Check out his crazy rant (above) to hear his plan "to get rid of all the lesbians and queers." It involves locking us all up in a 100-mile long electrified fence, air dropping food, and waiting for us all to die out because we can't reproduce...

Luckily, he "couldn't get it past the Congress."

This is truly sickening stuff and we know it doesn't represent the majority of Christians, but we're overwhelmingly saddened that people still think this way and use their religion as an excuse for intolerance.

The LGBT community doesn't want to take God's (Read more...)

Donna Summer To Be Laid To Rest Tomorrow With Private Service

Published on May 22, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

After the untimely passing of Donna Summer last Thursday, we reported that her family had decided to have a public memorial for the singer tomorrow.

However, now, that doesn’t seem to be the case, seeing as the church ceremony will be by invitation only.

The Disco Queen will be laid to rest in Nashville tomorrow and the church is expecting about 1,000 mourners to pay their last respects to the songbird.

Reportedly, Donna’s family will have a guest list for the funeral ceremony, with only family members and close friends making the cut.

Donna’s family have also been insisting that they don’t want the service to turn into a media field day, hoping to keep it as private as possible.

Though Summer, a music legend herself, worked with many other industry greats, there’s no word yet on which celebrities -- if any -- will be attending.

We miss you, Donna.

Judge Refuses To Reduce Music Downloading Fine For Student!

Published on May 21, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

While we do not condone the piracy of music, everyone knows the RIAA's bully tactics and lawsuits are shady.

They try and make examples of people, and claim outlandish damages, when in reality they're not solving the problem what-so-ever.

Joel Tenenbaum, a 28-year-old student who just graduated from a Boston University grad program, knows all about this.

He was ordered by courts to pay a ridiculous $675,000 for illegally downloading and sharing 30 songs on the Internet.

His appeal for a reduced amount has just been denied, but that's not going to stop him. He says:

"I can't believe the system would uphold a six-figure damages amount for downloading 30 songs on a file-sharing system that everybody used. I can't believe the court would uphold something that ludicrous."

His lawyer even tried to get it reduced to the 99 cents per song it would cost to download the files legally. That's pretty crazy too, as it IS a crime, but it should be nowhere near six figures!

The crazy thing? A federal judge called the penalty unconstitutionally excessive and reduced the award to $67,500 -- but the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals later reinstated it! WTF!

Tyler Clementi’s Roommate Sentenced To 30-Days In Prison And 3 Years Probation

Published on May 21, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

Ugh! That's it?

Dharun Ravi filmed his gay roommate being intimate with another man and posted the video on the internet. After finding out the private moment had been broadcast, Tyler Clementi tragically jumped to his death in 2010.

The 20-year-old Rutger's University student was found guilty of invasion of privacy and bias intimidation in February, but was finally sentenced for his crimes today.

Although we feel he should have gotten more time, at least Dharun will have 30 days in prison to think about what he's done and then three years of probation to remind him of his awful actions.

We're not the only ones who are a little disappointed by the slap on the wrist. Tyler's father asserted that his son's former roommate "still does not get it" and was hoping he'd receive a more serious punishment.

Considering Dharun accepts no responsibility for his former roommate's decision to commit suicide, we don't think he understands the gravity of his actions either.

Hopefully this case at least serves as a warning to other college students out there who might have been foolish and ignorant enough to make the same mistake otherwise.

Do U think the punishment was severe enough (Read more...)

Taylor Swift Honors Fallen Marine

Published on May 21, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

Aww! Taylor Swift is so sweet!

The award-winning singer and songwriter has reached out to the family of a dead marine by not only sending flowers with a personal note attached (above), but by calling them too!

Sergeant Wade Wilson passed away during combat on May 11 and his friend, Corporal Josh Marreel, decided to ask Swifty via YouTube to honor the deceased. In a video, Marreel told the young star what a huge fan his buddy was and explained:

"This is a shout out to the one and only Taylor Swift. I know you have no idea who I am but this video isn't about me. This is about good buddy, Sgt. Wade D. Wilson, who was killed in action Friday, May 11, 2012 in Afghanistan. Anybody that knew Willy knew that he worshiped you. He even slept with a post of you in between our beds in Afghanistan."

Although it was a shot in the dark, Corporal Marreel's efforts really paid off. On top of the flowers and phone call, Taylor has decided to wear Sgt. Wilson's dog tags in her next music video to show support for military service.

Such a kind gesture! We'll just add (Read more...)

Robin Gibb Has Passed Away.

Published on May 20, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

This is so incredibly sad.

After a long and - in the past few months, especially tumultuous - battle with cancer, Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees has passed away at the age of 62.

According to a statement from his family:

"The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time."

And it sounded as though his health was just starting to turn around.

After all the suffering he endured, we're at least comforted to know that he's now in a better place.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, loved ones, and fans during this impossibly difficult time.

May he R.I.P.

Family Drama Over Whitney Houston’s Billboard Awards Tribute!

Published on May 20, 2012 By

Perez Hilton

Such an unbelievable shame that egos couldn't be put aside for the greater good.

Whitney Houston will be honored at tonight's Billboard Music Awards with the Millennium Award, but sources close to production have revealed that there has been all kinds of behind-the-scenes drama and complications - all because members of the late icon's family are at war over who will accept on her behalf!

Apparently, daughter Bobbi Kristina was scheduled to make a speech in honor of her mother, but sister-in-law Pat Houston was adamant about appearing in the segment as well, and put up such a stink that finally, producers relented and allowed the two to take the stage together!

Seriously?

We give the producers some well-deserved credit for handling this as delicately as they did, as we think we would have been much more impatient with the woman attempting to upstage the only daughter of an icon during a tribute to her life and memory only MONTHS after her tragic passing.

For shame, for shame, for shame.
