3 Single Stars, Including Charlize Theron, Who Adopt Babies

Charlize Theron wants to have kids and she’s not letting anything hold her back. Her rep announced today that the 36-year-old actress has adopted a child and is now “the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson.” A source close to Charlize says that Jackson, who is the first child for Theron, is African-American and was born in the United States. Theron split from boyfriend Stuart Townsend in 2010 after dating for nine years, which made her start down a new path in her life. She admitted then that this is the first time she has been single since she was 19 years old and she is happy to finally have some time to herself. I guess she didn’t want to be completely alone though – she decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a mother. The source also says Charlize “has always wanted to be a mom” and she’s happy that she is now able to do it on her own.

Charlize Theron has said that marriage was never something she considered very important. She is instead spending time focusing on herself and her role as a mother now that she is single. Here are some other celebrities that have adopted children while they’re single.

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock revealed in April 2010 that she adopted a baby boy named Louis Bardo Bullock. She started the adoption process several years ago when she was still married, but finished it while single.

Sheryl Crow

Singer Sheryl Crow has adopted twice now. She adopted son Wyatt Steven in 2007 and then announced in June 2010 that she adopted son Levi James, who was born about two months before.

3 Married Male Celebs, Including Peter Facinelli, Who Had An Affair

News broke this morning that Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth were planning to divorce after 11 years of marriage. They only released a statement saying they decided to end their marriage, but still shared “the same deep love and devotion to our children.” Now, the real reason behind their split has been revealed. A source close to the former couple says Peter has been seeing another woman for a while now. He and Jennie tried to work things out as she “played housewife” for as long as she could, but she had had enough. Garth knew her husband was having an affair but hoped to keep it together for the kids, but they eventually grew apart too much and knew it was time to end the marriage. The source confirmed the former couple’s statement by saying they do still love each other, but they can’t be together. So what about the other woman? She is from Canada and is in her late 20s, but she doesn’t want her identity to be revealed in the media. She and Facinelli started their affair while he was in Vancouver filming the last film in the Twilight series. No one would comment on whether or not they are still in contact with each other, which probably means they are.

Peter Facinelli had an affair that ended his 11-year marriage to actress Jennie Garth, but he’s not the only male celebrity that has been with another woman while married. Here are some other stars that had affairs too.

Well, this is a relief!

She's dated quite enough clASS acts for our liking!

Despite reports that Sandra Bullock was involved in some sort of "risky romance" with director Brett Ratner, the pair have come forward to shoot down the rumors TOGETHER, by releasing this joint statement:

"We think that it's incredibly sad that in these times, this magazine would resort to complete fabrication, solely for financial gain. There is not a shred of accuracy in their story. We have not seen nor spoken to each for over a decade. We both had a great time after the Oscars, just not with each other."

Ha! That's actually kind of funny!

Gotta hand it to them for taking such a no-nonsense approach to such a nonsensical story!

And there you have it! Sandra Bullock and Brett Ratner have NO interest in each other!

All is right in the world again! Phew!

What The Tabs Are Talking About!

It was a busy week for the tabs!

Poor Sandra Bullock. Everyone just wants to make sure she's making the right choices in life!

In Touch says that Sandy is involved in a "risky new romance" with sleazy director Brett Ratner.

Ruh-roh! We don't like the sound of that!

Then, of course, there's the BIG news that Snooki is knocked up! After weeks of speculation, she finally confirmed it to Us Weekly, giving the mag all the deets of her pregnancy and her engagement to boyfriend Jionni. Let us all pray...

Meanwhile, Star brings up the old news of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's crumbling marriage. Apparently, there's a particular someone who came in between the couple, which prompted "Wild nights!" and "Exotic Vacations!" Scandalous!

Speaking of scandalous, Life & Style are reporting that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries will be facing each other for the time in months in COURT! Kris will be "forced to tell the truth" about what their marriage was REALLY like and will apparently walk away with millions if a judge sides with him. Yikes!

Sandra Bullock Is Suing…A Watchmaker!

Guess Sandra must be more of a Timex girl. LOLz!

Sandra Bullock has filed a lawsuit against a watchmaker for using both her name and image to advertise their product WITHOUT her permission.

The lawsuit states the following:

"ToyWatch USA intentionally and prominently used Ms. Bullock's name, photograph, image, identity, and persona in advertising, marketing, and/or promotion (collectively the Advertisements) to sell watches."

"Certain defendants, including ToyWatch, J.R. Dunn, and others, advertised the watches at issue as the 'Sandra Bullock Watch' and/or the 'Sandra Bullock Watches..'"

And here's what Sandra is seeking in the suit, along with punitive damages:

"[A] preliminary and permanent injunction prohibiting Defendants and their affiliated companies from any further use of Plaintiff's publicity rights and privacy rights (including without limitation name, photograph, likeness, image, identity, persona, voice...)."

Let's hope this all gets worked out soon! Sandy's got more important things to worry about right now...like her new (possible) boyfriend!

3 Stars, Including Kim Kardashian, Who Donate a Lot of Money to Charity

The guests who attended Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ nuptials may have felt duped once the marriage ended after just 72 days. After all, for a superstar couple like that, they probably shelled out a lot to buy a pricey wedding present. Looks like they don’t have to worry though – everything they spent on a gift is now going to a good cause. Kim Kardashian sent a letter to all the guests who attended her wedding to thank them for their “generous and thoughtful wedding gifts.” She admits that it took her a while “to pull everything together,” but she has finally sorted through the presents and figured out the best course of action. She decided to donate all the money from the gifts she received to the Dream Foundation. Kim is also donating just as much of her own money to the charity. Sources say the value of all the gifts she received was about $100,000 and with her equal contribution, the foundation is set to receive a $200,000 check from the star. The Dream Foundation also included a note along with the letter Kim sent out to explain what exactly the money is going towards. They use donations to “support an individual facing terminal illness with a final wish – allowing relief, joy, and comfort at the end of life’s journey.” Kim’s marriage to Kris and the elaborate wedding she planned were terrible ideas to begin with, but at least something good is coming out of it.

She’s probably just doing it to get good publicity, but at least Kim Kardashian is donating money to charity rather than keeping wedding gifts she doesn’t really need. Here are few other celebrities that also donate a lot of money to charity rather than keep it for themselves.
