NBC is treating Katharine McPhee‘s Idol days like a Cinderella-esque unwanted stepchild.
The network refuses to acknowledge McPhee former days on American Idol, which has caused them a lot of flack.
On her bio for the Smash site, it doesn’t mention anything before her debut album in 2007, which was released almost immediately after Idol.
NBC even goes as far as “Introducing” her in their ads as if no one has ever heard of her.
Then again, we can’t blame them. They’ve got a pretty penny invested in The Voice.
Why give Fox any free publicity, right?

Looks like Snooki and JWoww get to stay in Jersey!
After being shut down by Hoboken, Jersey City has agreed to let MTV film the girls' spinoff there.
Jersey City is New Jersey second biggest city and mayor Jerramiah Healy has no qualms about Snooki and JWoww coming to his city.
Mayor Healy said the following about the show:
My view is the more people that see anything about Jersey City and see what we have in Jersey, the better it is for Jersey City.
Until these girls wreck havoc all over it, then maybe not so much!
Production is scheduled to begin this month. We'll see how these girls do without Seaside Heights.

E! wants more of The Voice!
The cable network has reupped this season and will re-air The Voice episodes broadcasted on NBC.
The episodes will air weekly as it did last season and will debut this Saturday with a three hour premiere.
E!'s ratings were driven up 60% last year when The Voice aired and they hope Xtina, Cee-Lo, Blake and Adam can deliver the goods again.
NBC will also re-air repeats on Thursday and Saturday. NBC hopes that the triple dose of THe Voice will help their otherwise fledging schedule.

Maybe you haven't heard, but Sarah Michelle Gellar's comeback to television is on the verge of being cut short and we can't say that we're happy about that.
So, we've taken it upon ourselves to ensure that all of you feel compelled to tune into Ringer every week until May. The ratings will go up, the show will be saved, and we won't be stuck with one season of this show that will undoubtedly end on a cliffhanger that will just irk us for years to come!

Lisa Kudrow has consoled her Friends before when Courteney Cox came to her office.
Now, it's David Schwimmer's turn!
Schwimmer will play a man traumatized by his father having sex with Kudrow's character Fiona in Web Therapy.
And he watched the whole thing!!! Ewwwww!!!!
Now, he can only date women who look like Fiona and his regular therapist thinks that watching Fiona (AGAIN!) will get him over the hump.
Sounds really creepy..and we can't wait to see it!!!

Mandy Moore is coming to ABC in a new pilot directed by Shawn Levy. Mandy will star as a newlywed who get to run a chic, new restaurant that is closer to her needy family.
What kind of shenanigans will her family get her into?!
The show will be a single camera comedy and is untitled at the moment.

Snooki has formally announced that she's bi and the proof was in the pudding.
After making out with Deena on the show, Snooki left little to the imagination.
While the Jersey Shore-r has now qualms hooking up with a majority of her castmates, she won't commit to the fairer sex.
She says the following:
I would never be with a girl because I like... penis. But I've experimented.

The Costa Concordia is getting the Titanic treatment...sorta.
NatGeo will air a special one hour documentary recounting the ship disaster.
The doc will feature a combination of home video and passenger and crew stories and show similarities and differences between the Costa and Titanic.
Unfortunately, Leo and Kate won't be available on this one.
Titled Italian Cruise Ship Disaster: The Untold Stories, the doc will air February 13th.
Not the greatest Valentine's Day gift but informative none the less!

According to reports, Apple has approached two huge Canadian companies -- Rogers Communications and Bell Canada Enterprises -- about possibly merging their efforts to launch the rumored (but still unconfirmed) iTV, a device that would have the capabilities of an iPad, but on the scale of a television set.
In order to make the project a success, Apple is in search of a partner, or multiple partners, who have interests in wireless and broadband communications. There are some sources that boast that the iTV has already been almost fully realized and even sits in the Apple labs as we speak. But again, all reports are still speculation at this point. As for these two Canadian companies: Both companies offer video, phone, and broadband services, and also control content.
Could Steve Jobs last dream, which he relayed to biographer Walter Isaacson, finally be becoming a reality??? Is the world even ready for that much awesomeness???
