We kid, we kid. It's not about the award. (But it wouldn't suck!)

So much for the HIGHlarity - this sounds like it might be pretty serious!
We reported yesterday that Sarah Silverman had signed on for a then-unspecified role on the CBS drama The Good Wife, and now we're getting the details from her character - and it seems as though the inspiration for her has been ripped straight from real life!
According to reports, the usually funny lady will appear in the 22nd episode this season as Stephanie, who owns a controversial website called AshleyMadison.com that sets up affairs for married users! She'll be brought to trial when a man's death is caused by an affair started through the page!
So serious! But pretty inneresting!
We're also not going to lie - we're pretty curious to see play a character straight!
Sounds a little bit like Kathy Griffin's dramatic turn on Law & Order: SVU - and that actually went well for her!
Here's hoping it can go the same for Sarah! Best of luck, gurl!

It's about time she gets back in the TV game!
America Ferrera has just landed a role on the acclaimed CBS drama The Good Wife. Executive producer Robert King announced the good news to sources, explaining that America will play a legal grad student with whom Alan Cummings' character develops a romantic interest in. Robert added:
"We've been watching and loving America for years now on Ugly Betty, and it'll be fantastic to see her take on a completely different role: especially one that puts her across from Alan Cumming."
It's certainly a stretch from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants what we think she is used to, but we think she'll wonderful all the same.
Thoughts?

Good for her! Show those Nickelodeon slackers how it's done!
iCarly star, Miranda Cosgrove, has just signed on for a guest spot on the new hit show, The Good Wife. Miranda will be taking an extreme departure from her cutesy character on Nick. She'll be playing a popstar with a serious problem- a DUI!
That sounds vaguely familiar. Hmm.
We're excited to see if Miranda can really pull this off.
Do U think she's got the acting chops for the role?
