Two athletic icons celebrate a birthday today, and it's rather clear what gift both need.
First, LeBron James turns 26. The Miami Heat superstar and his squad are off to a strong start to the 2011-2012 season, currently 3-0 thanks to a buzzer-beating victory Wednesday night against Charlotte.
Have you seen their latest introductory video? Someone needs to get this guy a mansion just for his ego.
Tiger Woods, meanwhile, is now 35. He actually won a golf tournament to close out 2011 and could use a hug. His most famous mistress is pregnant with someone else's baby, after all. That's gotta hurt.
Other celebrities celebrating birthdays today include: Kristin Kreuk (29), Eliza Dushku (31), Sean Hannity (50) and Matt Lauer (54).

Rachel Uchitel who?!
For the first time in more than two years, Sunday marked the return of the Tiger Woods we used to talk about, with the golfer draining a birdie putt on the final hole to win and fist-pumping in his trademark red and black ensemble.
Tiger rallied to win the Chevron World Challenge with this dramatic effort:
He went 749 days and 26 tournaments without winning as he tried to repair a golf game that used to be the best in the world, as well as his formerly impeccable image following one of the most (if not the most) celebrity scandals in history.
The drought is over now. How does it feel for the 35-year-old?
"It feels great," he said. "Kind of hard for me to elaborate beyond that. I know that it's been awhile, but for some reason, it feels like it hasn't. I think I was screaming something. But it was just that I won the golf tournament. I pulled it off with one down, two to go."
The rest of the golf world had better look out in 2012.

He hasn't won a tournament in over two years (the two-year anniversary of the car crash is coming up) and his fitness, mentally and physically, has been way off.

You wouldn't know it this week in Sydney, Australia, where Woods is tearing up one of the country's best courses, leading by one stroke at the halfway point.
Woods says he's "playing properly" again. The distractions of the sex scandal that ended his marriage, injuries and splits with his caddy and coach are history.
"It's one of those things, just being patient," the 14-time major winner said. "I derive a lot of my confidence from practice. I'm getting ample practice time."
"That's something I've not done in the last couple of years."
Good for him. Even before the wreck ended his marriage to Elin Nordegren, he veered off a bit. Think he can pull it (Read more...)
