Damon Lindelof Talks Lost Ending For Disappointed Fans

Yes, we're STILL talking about this!

When Lost aired its season finale back in 2010 nearly almost everyone was left disappointed.

The show's Executive Producer, Damon Lindelof, has a message for all fans that didn't like his ending: Suck it!

Okay, he didn't say "suck it," but he DID say if he had the chance to rewrite it, he wouldn't.

In a final attempt to settle the score with an angry fan / interviewer, Damon said:

"There were a bunch of other writers on the show, but in terms of my own feelings of how the [show's] ending I made no apologies for it. I do feel like that was the ending I wanted to do. I was always comfortable with the ambiguity of the show."

He goes on to say the ONLY regret he has about is work on Lost is saying "the answers are coming" in interviews.

He admits that there was a while during the first few seasons when the writers were just making shiz up! According to DL, they did a lot of "improvising" in the writer's room until they got an end date for the show and had to wrap things up.

Aw, poor Dev Raza Jaffrey!

While we had no love to spare on Raza's SMASH character and his cheating ways, he wasn't one of the WORST parts of the show (ahem, ELLIS).

Earlier today, we revealed that four characters were chopped from season two of the luke-warm, musical dramedy SMASH, and it appears that at least ONE of them will be missed!

Katharine McPhee, who played girlfriend Karen to Raza's Dev, tweeted her affection for her fallen friend, who returned with a sweet tweet of his own:

We are rather intrigued as to where the show will go now that Bombshell Marilyn has been cast!

Giuliana Rancic Will Roll On E! For 3 More Years

Giuliana Rancic, the sweetest E! News anchor & managing editor, host of Fashion Police, and red-carpet translator, will grace our TV screens for at least three more years.

We hope the contract includes LOTS of maternity perks!

Rancic recently expressed:

"I'm extremely proud of the tremendous opportunities E! has given me over the past 10 years, and I'm excited to be part of the network's exciting future. The best is yet to come."

Giuliana has signed a contract gaurunteeing her airtime until April 2015.

Jim Parsons Admits: I’m Gay

Jim Parsons, the multiple-time Emmy Award winner for his role in The Big Bang Theory, is gay.

The actor made the reveal is an understated manner, simply including it as part of a New York Times article profiling his recent work on Broadway, which includes portraying a gay activist in The Normal Heart.

"The Normal Heart resonated with him on a few levels: Mr. Parsons is gay and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment," author Patrick Healy wrote in the piece.

A couple tabloid reports, including a 2010 article in The National Enquirer, also mentioned Parsons' sexuality, but this is the star's first public acknowledgement. Hopefully, it's met with nothing but a shrug.

That slimy, lurking, DETESTABLE Ellis (Jaime Cepero) "producer" character will only be returning to SMASH's second season to wrap up his story line.

Thank the television GODS!

AND Karen’s (Katharine McPhee) cheating, depressed lover-boy Dev (Raza Jaffrey) has also been downsized to series unregular, along with Julia’s boring husband Frank (Brian d'Arcy James) and her not-so-secret beau Michael Swift (Will Chase).

Good riddance!

Now new showrunner Josh Safran just needs some power-player leading lads, no more of these weasly, wet types!

But we don’t necessarily want more harda** directors, either...

Jennifer Lopez & Rihanna To Perform On Idol Finale Along With…

Looks like Idol is pulling out ALL the stops for their season 11 finale tonight!

While we previously mentioned that Kristin Chenoweth will be performing Donna Summer’s Enough Is Enough with Barbra Streisand finalist Jessica Sanchez, that’s just the beginning for the show’s performances!

The girl finalists will hit the stage with an all-out Donna tribute and will be joined by Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston, Gladys Knight, Nelly Furtado, Sheila E. and Jennifer Holliday!

After the recent passing of Robin Gibb this past weekend, the season 11 boys will be paying tribute as well, by singing a medley of Bee Gees songs.

Chaka Khan will also be singing with the girls in a group performance and the boys will be graced by Neil Diamond’s presence for a number!
