Talk about method acting!
Usually glitzy and glammy Vanessa Hudgens chatted up Rachael Ray about her stint in a homeless shelter for her upcoming flick, Gimme Shelter.
Nessa plays a pregnant homeless teen and she took a trip to the homeless shelter in Jersey the film is based on and stayed for two weeks!
The actress recounts her experience with the unfortunate:
For Gimme Shelter, my character ends up at this pregnant, homeless teen shelter that's actually ran in New Jersey by a woman and I actually went and stayed in the shelter for two weeks before I started filming, so I mean like, I lived there with all the girls, with all the kids, so I think that it's really interesting because you find so much more about yourself.
Now that's definitely a full time committment to your work!
Nessa also commented that she and Rosario Dawson look "super messed up" for the film.
We're super excited to see how this film turns out. It sounds uhMAZing!!!

These 6 celebrities have all developed weird obsessions with something a little unusual, and have spoken on their strange passion openly. For some, their obsession is a source of inspiration or perhaps what they love is just something for fun. From Justin Bieber to Beavis and Butthead, you’ll never guess which stars have developed rather peculiar loves for random things – but at least they don’t take themselves so seriously they can’t admit what they really do feel strongly about – even if it’s ice-cream memorabilia.
Evan Rachel Wood
Evan says she is completely obsessed with Justin Bieber has has seen his movie three times: “I ended up seeing ‘Never Say Never’ three times. One of those times was the director’s cut. I’m not even kidding. I got obsessed with the kid. It’s going to be weird if I ever meet him. He’s brought so much joy to my life.”
Vanessa Hudgens
After filming a role, Vanessa grew an attachment to babies and now wants to have her own: “It was very crazy and very very interesting and kinda made me obsessed with babies. I did get to know the girls and they were so amazing and really let me in to their head and, like, took me through their struggle… It was so humbling. They don’t care about the celebrity; this is real life. These girls are just trying to get by.”
Rupert Grint
Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint is obsessed with buying ice-cream related memorabilia for his ice-cream truck: “I got obsessed with buying accessories for it on eBay – light-up cones. I drive it every day. I get kids queueing up outside whenever I stop.”
Patrick Stewart
X Men star Patrick Stewart loves watching Beavis and Butthead: “It’s borderline addiction, in fact. I have ties, (Read more...)
Given the fact that the director of her new movie wrote Kids, we're not surprised at all that it won't be G-rated!
During a recent interview, Selena Gomez opened up about her upcoming movie Spring Breakers, which also stars James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, and Emma Roberts.
Here's what Selena had to say about it:
"She's the little more tamed down character but also still gets a little crazy here and there. She goes on spring break with her girlfriends and they end up getting into a whole mess of things. They're partying and drinking. We end up in jail."
And here's more from Selena on landing the role:
"I'm nervous. It's a little edgy, but it's fun. I fought for that role. I flew to Nashville and told him I want be a part of it."
Sounds fantastic! We think she does a great job in family flicks like Ramona and Beezus, but we're VERY curious to see how she does in something like this!
Once again - the director wrote Kids! That movie is SO disturbing! Just ask Chloe Sevigny!
What do U think? Will U check out Spring Breakers when (Read more...)
